In 2015 a new cuvee was born at our winery: CUVEE ETHAN, created from an exceptional vintage from our parcel of mourvedre with beautiful ripeness and a low yield of just 15hl per hectare.

      A blend of 80% mourvedre and 20% syrah, this wine was matured 18 months in new oak barrels.

     Planted at the birth of winemaker Guillaume's son Ethan, this parcel of mourvèdre expresses delicious spicy tones with amazing balance , aromatic expression and elegance.

   Château du Vieux Parc will be present on Vinisud 2017 in Montpellier.

   HALL 2 / ALLEE C  / STAND 23, in the Minervois area , with Château du Donjon.

The Chateau du Vieux Parc, cuvee Selection red

Created by Louis in 1988, a year after his return to the domain.

from conception,it is always thebest vines of carignan, syrah, grenache and mourvedre

used for this typical blend of Corbieres.

This year, we decided to give this wine a new look, with a bourgignonne bottle,

more heavy and opulent, but we do not change the content that keeps the knowledge of Louis and Guillaume.

This vintage 2013 is now available. Don’t forget to breath or carafe the wine before tasting,

while it is young. It will be more mature after two years, but could be appreciate during ten years more, in a good cellar.
